My 1991 Harley Davidson Softail Springer is the love of my life.
I bought her after my divorce in December 1997 to fulfill a dream I have had of owning a Harley since I was 14.
I named her 'Lady' in honour of my other 'lady' Helen.
The original colour was red, but I painstakingly dismantled, repainted and revamped it in 1998.

The "Iron Lady" came stock with the V2 Evo Engine, short bars and bulky looking lights. I decided to personalize her and chose to put on the tall Ape Hanger bars so I could lay back a little and enjoy the ride. I also purchased two new seats; one a solo and the other a narrower, cleaner looking one that gave my other Lady a place to ride. Next came smaller 'bullet' size lights so I could clean up the look and get rid of those large, bulky looking ones that stuck out. Then came the new tail assembly. I got one that mounted under the fender so as to give a sleeker look to the rear end. Finally, came the new color. I wanted something 'unique' and fell in love with my neighbors yellow Corvette. I chose the color Corvette Yellow and added black pin stripes with the black and brown Harley emblem on the tanks. All things considered I like the job; its a first for me, but will not be the last!
