On January 18, 1966 I was inducted into the US Army, which I thought would be for two years, and then I would be back home. How was I to know that this day would become the first day of a 24.5 year career.
With a few exceptions, I loved every tour of duty. After all these years, some names and faces have faded, but as well as good times and bad, one thing I will never forget...I SERVED PROUDLY....

God Bless the United States of America and every family who served to keep our country free....
